Update

Thank you all for your support—it’s really appreciated. And on behalf of Severus and Keily I sincerely apologize the amount of trouble we’re causing (even if Keily were up and about and saying that I’m ‘not sincere at all’ and that I ‘should probably stop lying before I burn in hell for it’).

So far, no improvements in the Keily situation at all. Rinnalaiss and the elf lords stopped by immediately to see if they could do anything, but after a while she didn’t even so much as twitch. We waited a good few days to see if, possibly, that the athelas would kick in, but there are no visible improvements. We’re thinking of moving her to St Mungo’s to see if they could do anything, but I doubt that they could. At least Keily would be more comfortable there…

Severus has taken to secluding himself in one of the upstairs rooms, thinking about something or other. One would think that with his hard won freedom that he would get out more. Then again, with his current situation, I don’t blame him for hiding more than usual. He’s probably thinking about what Tabby told us on the blog. It’s all strange to me, though. How can a person live without a heart? I suppose it wouldn’t be a beating one that was removed. Still…I have to wonder…

As some of you may know, Keily’s been a sort of medium for quite a while now and only recently did she show signs of real magic—just before Severus and I got Keily her first wand. She once told us that before we met, she used to have rather accurate and vivid dreams of the future and that during her waking hours, she’d mistake them as memories and have déjà vu whenever they happened in front of her.

I wonder if she had seen any of the past few months coming. I wonder if she had seen her own end. That’d be kind of spooky, if you ask me…to know when you’re going to have your life stop and you have so much that you still want to do. But she never acted like it would…or maybe she did. She lived by that strange Muggle motto: “Live every day like it’s your last.”

It’s very upsetting to be thinking of her—of everything—like this—more than you could ever know. Many are starting to live like that now, I think. There are so many dangers out there—enemies at almost every turn. The minute we think one is gone, another pops up to take try to take us down. Although I hate to think it…Darkness is all around and it is thick and eternal as the Light is brilliant and ever present. It’s how things work. It’s how everything stays in check.

I don’t have much else to say…but I think the world just got a little darker with Keily gone.

To Rinnalaiss and the elf lords, Elrohir and Elladan: Thank you for your efforts.

To Tabby: I hope that a meeting can be arranged between myself and a few of the Organization members. There are a few things I’d like to discuss. Also, I think there would be a certain witch that we must extract some answers from.

To Kenya: Thank you, Miss Starflight. I can understand your animosity towards me and do not blame you for it. Were I in your place, I’d despise myself wholeheartedly. It would be greatly appreciated if you could take on young William from time to time, as Narcissa could use the occasional break.

To Vader: While incarcerated, Keily happened to relay a certain message to me. The only response I can give you is: You’re welcome. And Keily would have hexed me ten times till Tuesday had I not done it.
